Dis On Bella Swan and Gabrielle Zevin.. Also known as Blog post 7

Section Freights and Grooves

Wow.. This is the end.. Hold your breath and count to ten.. Feel the earth move and then..
Sorry, everyone has to have Adele stuck in their head at least once. Don’t blame me; she is amazing. Hehehe.
Okay.. Wow.. This is the end. Really, this is the end of that crazy, long journey with Sam, Sadie, and Marx. (Rest in peace, brother.) I honestly don’t know how I feel. I’m actually kinda sad. Like over the past 7 weeks, I feel I kinda became a part of the story, like I was in their world. I got to know each of them and see their flaws and strengths. Like.. Now it is done. I- I really enjoyed this book, like, honestly. I do have to say the emotional rollercoaster was wild, that’s for sure. I will admit I’ve had some pretty strong things to say. It’s-

“It’s like a huge hole has been punched through my chest” -Bella Swan.. And there is only one way to fill the hole that Bella has perfectly described, while she was being dramatic, I am not. Like, come on, Bella, He literally said he wants to eat you.. Like girl.. OML, we are not talking about this right now, maybe I shall make a blog post with all my feelings that come from Bella.. That girl.. Oml.

Anyways, like I was saying.. This hole that is in my chest shall only be filled with 1) another book.. Love/Hate relationship yk. 2) caffeine or 3) Instagram reels, which options 2 and 3 seem like the best options, but that’s just my opinion.
Before I get into what happened within this section, I was just so rudely interrupted by Alana’s comment on blog post 6.. And no, I didn’t enjoy this section.. I hated it. Like honestly, not because it is the end of the book but because the author just honestly sucked. Like, she ended the book so badly. Like, I feel like I could have written a book better than that ending, like oml girl learn to write. Dis the author. Fr fr.
Like soooooo I think i’m gonna avoid summary in this whole section, like my feelings are more important than how she ended this book. Smh. sadness. Okay, so to start, she started talking to Dov again. Why idk, It’s like she never learns. Like at all. But long story short, he kinda brought her around to Sam again, which is amazing, but then he offered her his job at MIV teaching the video game class that he was teaching. Turn the page, and she took it and then moved to Boston. “I’m gonna avoid summary,” Aiden said mockingly. Anyways, I think this was a perfect move that the author played, like getting her out of there, away from everything, changing career paths, it definitely showed her way of healing and how people move on in the real world..

Unless we are dramatic teenagers like Bella Swan, we just sit on chairs and watch the words October through December fly around us. While we spin around a chair in this zombie-like state. Please watch the video.. You know you want too..

But then she got back in touch with Sam and like, started being friends again, and they talked about giving Ichigo 3 to a group of college students to carry on their legacy and stuff, then Sam’s grandpa died, and then the book ended. Like damn girl. You can not just have 3 chapters of sad depressing crap then just expect everything to be A-ok like some damn disney move.
Ugh, she makes me mad. And so does Bella. I decided to dis on Bella and Gabrielle Zevin now. Fr. Like so done with both of them.. Smh.
Otherwise, I was really enjoying this book til it took a turn, for the last three chapters of the book. And I thank Mrs. Johnson for suggesting this. I really enjoyed the book. I’m ready to find my next book now, Maybe it will be Twilight.. Some bad things might come out of that, though. I mean, Bella just really gets on my nerves.
Well, I think that’s all I’ve got to write about. She ended the book really badly.. It made me disappointed, but nothing I can do about it. OH and one last thing… though he sucks and has some problems.. definitely team Edward.. Jacob sucks. That is all, I apologize for all the randomness. And I never got to hear about Tuesday again.

Blog post whatever, 6 I think. On Tomorrow and tomorrow x2.

Section: Pioneers

Sooo ummm.. This chapter was interesting and was different from the last ones. I was shocked to see the author doing something like this, as I didn’t imagine she would do something like this in her book. Definitely doesn’t match the rest of the book. But I liked it. She showed a way of healing that I didn’t really see as a coping mechanism. Yk? But it was nice and definitely different for sure.
So throughout the whole chapter, we were in a video game. It didn’t say what game it was or who was playing the characters, but it did run through this character moving to a new town after her love died, and she is pregnant. She ends up living in this town for a while and ends up falling in love again, and living a life where she is happy. She got married, had a kid, etc.

Throughout the chapter, we still don’t know who this character is, and the author gave off traits of each of the main characters, so I was really wondering throughout the text who it was.

We finally see the perspective of like we are reading the game as we are playing. Like the chat box in games. And this person (Emilyblaster something), I should have gotten it right off the bat with that name.. I should have known, but I was so confused, I missed it. Duhhhh, it was Sadie. Why? Because one of the first games she made was Emily Blaster. Anywayssssss, she ends up talking to the person she is married to in this game. And it was SAM… and the game was a uhhh word. I’ll think of it. It was a-… doesn’t matter, moving on. To Mapleworld, it was called.. Good question. And he made it like this for Sadie. So he could try to find her, because they got in a fight, yk?

ADD-ON oml that’s the word. It was an add-on.

AND THEN she got mad and left the game. End of chapter. Ik right, cliff hanger. Not really.. Emotional rollercoaster that’s all……
But otherwise, I really like how the author used the game to show, like, Sadie’s healing process and how she is trying to move past it, but she is really struggling. I thought that was really nea
I also liked how the author used this to show how Sam is trying to reconnect with Sadie and how he is like, sorry, and how he also lost Marx and shouldn’t be going through this alone.. But the way that we went into this was super confusing to me. But I like it so much, and now I want to get back to the real world and see what’s going on there with infinite days, obviously. Sadie isn’t talking to Sam anymore.
But TUESDAY oml yes tuesday I forgot about tuesday. I need a check-up, get past the game, and go back.

Post five about Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow

Section Our Infinite Days

Soooo.. Marx died.. Yeah, that’s right. He is no longer with us. Sam took it greatly.. NOT. Sam took it to heart, he hates that his roommate and best friend is gone. Honestly, I would too. Idk how I would be able to do life the way I do it now without my best friend.
Sadie, on the other hand.. She is gone; she disappeared from everything. 9 months have passed within this chapter, and she has given birth. She isn’t leaving her house, and her sister Alice is always over there.
Sam did the only logical thing that an entrepreneur would do, and he put himself in Marx’s shoes and took over the company and kept moving forward, while Sadie stayed stuck in the past.

Honestly, I would, if my husband.. Baby daddy, and best friend died, I would have a hard time moving on, too.

But she isn’t doing any of the work that is required for the year, and they are rapidly losing money within the company. But Sam has been throwing parties and cleaning up the blood, and fixing the bullet holes within the walls of the company. Anywaysss.. Sam is sick of sadies crap he feels like she isnt acting as she should be acting. Like she isn’t the only one to lose someone, and the only widow to raise a child on her own. And I think it’s unfair of Sam to do that, she finally found love, she finally got married, especially after she has said the whole book that she doesn’t believe in marriage.
But im getting kinda sick of the authors shit, like this whole book she has been blame shifting within the characters. Like constantly back and forth between Sadie and Sam, and honestly, im getting sick of it. She needs to either end the friendship or fix it. I understand conflicts arising within friendships, have definitely seen it myself, but constantly with back in forth is sickening.
Like, honestly, Im so sick of these characters, I need Marx back. He was awesome. Buttttt noooooo had to go kill him off like all the good characters in books. I kinda have a feeling there is gonna be a suicide.. Either from Sam or Sadie. But that’s just my opinion. This stupid truck is driving me crazy. I can’t focus with it going off. Anyways.. Umm, they started working on a new game ig, and they partnered with that couple that was talking to Marx before he tragically decided to leave the earth. GREAT, now a siren is going off. Im so done.

Honestly, let me see Sam and Sadie. Im so sick of their crap, im gonna jab both of them to the throat. Right in the middle, and laughing about it as they are choking on the ground. Im so done with it. They better get their shit together.

I hope this book takes another turn, all this depressing stuff is driving me nuts. But otherwise it a good book. Hahaha. Finally just about on time!!!

Post four of Tomorrow and Tomorrow and tomorrow

Section NPC. Thanks all that see these after the due dates. Sorry for the late posts.

Ummm so.. This chapter will not be as exciting as my other blog posts, not because a lot didn’t happen. STUFF happened. But in the sense that we are honnoring a friend of ours on this crazy ass journey. Throughout this chapter, it starts from a different person’s point of view.. We have seen this before, but only for a page.

A little information that I forgot to tell you guys last time was that Sadie made a game without Sam, called Master of the Revels.

This is what pops up when i type in Master of the Revels. This is the definiton, an official responsible for overseeing royal entertainments and later, for stage censorship.

This chapter starts off with two friends who have gone to promote a game in New York. While they were gone, the other three worked on like an open house thingy, like people could go to their head offices and stuff and talk about the games and see it and other stuff. Within this open house, a loud noise can be heard. Keep in mind, we are in LA here.. But a single individual has been talking to this couple that is obsessed with Sadie Green and her games and thinks that they are amazing. While this couple has come up with a game this important, a single individual has received a call. This individual has gone back into the building to sort out the matters of this problem. Two people looking for a “faggot, promoting mayor” held Gordon at gun point. While this individual is stalling, waiting for the police, they requested that they go see his office to make sure that he isn’t in there. While the four were up there, Gordon, 2 people with guns, and this individual. Ant comes out and while the people with guns freak out thinking it is “Faggot, promoting mayor” They fire 4 shots, one hits ant. The other three go into this individual because they stepped in the way. And he used the 5th shot to kill himself.. He did this because when Sam prompted Same sex marriages in his game, one of the people with guns(killed himself), his wife hooked up with a woman in Mapletown and then left him for her. So he blamed this person. Towards the end of the chapter, this individual has died because of the shots, and their friends and parents are there.
Though this character was an “NPC,” they became my favorite character over the course of this book. So this chapter has hit pretty deep for me. I really started to see myself within this character in some ways, and I really started to appreciate them. But now they are gone, and I feel like the tone or the mood of this book will be depressing for the next few chapters, and it will definitely hit each individual differently. I also don’t know what’s gonna happen, like typically I have an idea of what will happen next in the book, and I have no idea what’s gonna happen now.

I also definitely forgot to mention, Sadie is pregnant.. And it seems like she is gonna keep this baby.

Thank you all who still read my posts even after they are late. Have a great day!!
Rest in peace, Marx Watanabe

Blog post three for Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow

sections pivots and marriages. Sorry for the late post.

OKAYYYYYY, here we go again. Blog post number 3. Finally, number 4 is going to be one chapter, so I should be caught up after I complete that one. SIGH..
ANYWAYYYYS Where did I leave off? Yes, that’s right. Both sides was a huge pile of crap… Imagine that. People loved Mapletown, the part of the game that Sam made. I think the whole reason why people disliked the game so much was because Sam and Sadie both made separate parts of the game then they tried to intertwine ideas. Like, they both made their own section without checking in with each other.
So, a little background. Sam found a dog and named it Tuesday. And he leaves it with his grandparents when he is gone. Just so you know. Because this is very important information.
Back to the main point. SO, Sadie and Marx go to Japan. Why I don’t remember is not an important reason. Im pretty sure it was to catch up with his dad. But on the way to the airport.. Zoe Marx’s girlfriend breaks up with him. For some reason. Anyway, they go to Japan. All of Marx’s friends keep thinking that Sadie is his girlfriend, and then when they find out she isn’t, they tell her not to sleep with him.. What does she do.. Sleeps with him. Then they do it some more. And some more. Then, before you know it, they are dating. AND HIDING IT FROM SAM. Which, of course, he knows about.. Which is fun. So much fun to hide your relationships from your friends.

Eye roll…

Any how, marx comes up with the idea that since people loved mapletown so much that he would turn it in to a roleplay game since there wasn’t much out there and he thought that people would rather live in this beautiful world that Sam created rather than do some levels through it. Anyways the night of launch, they debated not launching it. Because Some idiots decided to go crash in to the world trade center.. Soooo yeahhh. Anyways they decided that they will launch it. On the night of launch sadie and marx happened to disappear.. Hmmm oh my oh my i wonder where they went.. So they launched it anyways and Sam was pissed.. I mean i would be too. Lets be honest, Sadie is a shit friend. I’m so done with her.
OH YEAH. Sadie and Marx bought a house together… whattttttt. So yeah that was shocking. Anyways. So there is this gay couple within the company that is really good at their job so they are like in the circle with sadie marxs and sam. And they made this game or whatever isn’t really that important. But they wanted to get married and the only place that was allowing this was in some city. Couldn’t find it in the book. Shucks. Anyways they got married. Sam confronted saide about dating marx. Then a week or so later they got rid of same sex marriages cause them to not be married anymore.

So this is how I imagine Mayor Mazer.. Yeahhh..

And so within mapletown sam made it a political statement to support his friends that same sex marriages were allowed and then it started up this whole big things and blah blah blah. I’m so done with sadie.. So done.
That is all, Thanks guys for those that read these late blog posts.

Blog post 2 about Tomorrow and tomorrow, and tomorrow

Sections unfair games and both sides

SO I bit off way more than I could chew. It was the only way that worked. But here I go for blog post number two.
This chapter had a lot of flashbacks of Sam’s past, which helped a lot in understanding his character. Ichigo was a huge success, like a giant. To the point they made a second one! SADIE finally left Dov!! Finally, okay, so this whole love triangle thing I had going on was not true. Sam and Marx didn’t have any relations, just a really strong brotherly bond. Which the author sucked at explaining and made it seem like they had some messed up love triangle thing going on. but it was confusing because Sam is Bi and so is Sadie and MArx, which is why it made it seem like they were some love triangle thing.

This is the vibe… If you know, You know 😉

To the point, they made a second game, and this whole time, people have been comparing Ichigo to Sam. Calling it Sam’s game. And Sam’s story. OML I found out something incredible.. I’ll tell you later. #cliffhanger. Which started to cause some feelings in Sadie that I think are unfair. So, anyways, Marx finds Sam in the shower like bleeding really badly and stuff, because of his MESSED up foot. Which caused Sam to go to the hospital, and they suggested an amputation. Sam didn’t want this. Nor did he want to know, because he secretly loves her in some weird best friend/romantic way. Ik crazy, right?! SO what does Marx do, tell Sadie. Sadie becomes super worried and tries to talk to Sam. While Zoe, Marx’s ex/girlfriend, again gets an opportunity to get a business office in LA, Sam and Sadie’s hometown. So she offers it to Marx and his gaming crew.
Marx and Sadie think this is the best idea, and they are moving, which is why Dov and she broke up. Moving back to LA. Once they get their Sam goes in for his amputation, and he and Sadie have this really cute heart-to-heart moment. Then this Bi*ch doesn’t show up when he gets out of surgery and thinks she hates him now and blames him for everything wrong with her in her life, and he is the reason she got with Dov again, and blah blah blah blah. Stupid stuff. She needs to get hit by a car. Funny story, that’s how Sam’s foot got messed up, and his mom died.

They were so scared that they hit a coyote that she turned off her car at night on a corner and then a car was speeding and hit them killing his mom and hurting sam really bad. I feel so bad, he kept trying to wake her up.

SOOO Sam is recovering from his injury on his foot amputation, and Sadie is in the office working on their new game, BOTH SIDES! This game features a girl based on Alice’s sister, struggling to find her place in the real world, and she has this made-believe world where she is rose the all mighty, so you have to complete parts of both worlds to move the game forward. Well, when they released it. It took a huge dump on their names, people hated it. They complained that it was too complicated and said it was “Sadie’s game,” even though they both worked on it. Which caused Sadie to hate Sam even more. Though it wasn’t their fault.
To finish off the summary, here is a quick list of other things that happened. Ready and go! SAdie got a new boyfriend, Sam started smoking weed, Sam had some sexual relations with a girl, sam and marx have been hangin out, Marx has been growing his gaming company, Sadie has been getting even more mad at sam, Sadie has been in touch with Dov and keeps playing his game, and that’s about it.
This section of the book made me really realize the impact of not talking things out, and I was able to connect that to my own life. But like the impact of overthinking and not being there for a friend, and how it can ruin relationships. I’m really starting to not like Sadie, like her character just keeps getting worse. But I feel a strong sense of sympathy for her. The author released some info on her that she just about told Sam in one of their fights. Ichigo is “Sam’s game,” When really it is about Sadie. SHE WAS PREGNANT.. She got an abortion, i’m pretty sure it was Dov’s kid. And Ichigo is about a kid who was ripped from her mother and lost at sea, unable to come home, because at the end of the game, the Ichigo family doesn’t recognize the kid. I don’t think Sadie was able to support the child.
I apologize for the late blog post, if anyone reads this. But I hope you enjoy the next one.

Post one about Tomorrow, And Tomorrow, And Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin

Section: Sick Kids 1-61 and Influences 62-125

Imma apoloigize ahead of time. Just have patience with me. I go back and fourth alot. Sorry about that.

Well, from my starter post, I mentioned how the next 7 weeks are gonna be sucky due to me not enjoying to read and my excellent procrastination skills. Im in love. Why books do this to me, I have no idea. It is like an escape from everything, and I can just get lost in this world of pages and ink. It is like an escape from reality. Sam and Sadie feel the same way about video games.

Sam is a Jewish Korean American kid. He is in college now, and he recently ran into his childhood best friend. They haven’t talked in about 6 years, I think. When Sam was a child he got in a car accident which messed up his foot and bottom of his leg like really really bad. So he got stuck in the hospital, and that is where he fell in love with video games. There was a Nintendo in the waiting room where he would constantly be.

Sadie is a rich girl, Her sister went into the hospital due to cancer. And that’s where she met Sam. Now, Sam wouldn’t talk to anyone at all. I haven’t quite figured out why. But she was about to talk to him about video games, and they slowly became best friends. And then I flipped the page and wanted to jab sadie right to the fricken throat. Ughhhhhh, Sadie makes me so mad. Anyways, long story short, she was doing it for community service… And he found out.

Now, we are back to the beginning. They haven’t talked in like 6 whole years, and he finally found her at a train station. At the time, Sadie had a boyfriend. That’s a whole story that makes me dislike Sadie even more. Ugh, that girl. Like, Im actually gonna jab her to the throat and laugh about it. Anyways, she is/was.. I don’t really know at the moment. They are kinda like a friends-with-benefits sort of thing. It is really odd. “Dov wasn’t abusive. He always sought consent. But he liked handcuffs and other more complicated props and ordering ger around. He liked making her strip and tying her up and gaging her. He spanked ..(I think you know some of the rest.).. He likes shaving off her pubic hair, which he did with care. He peed on her once.. (UMMM, GIRL, this is not okay…) Dov also liked to be hit” (Zevin 121). What!! This is crazy. OH, and did I mention that Dov is her professor.. YEAH, her professor.. Thanks, Mrs. Johnson, great book. Hahaha. Im in love with this not writing in academic voice thing.

ANYWAYS, topic change. They made a video game called Ichigo, which is Japanese for one and four, for the 14 on the jersey that the kid wears. This game is about a kid that doesn’t know how to talk or do barely anything, and they get swept out to sea by a giant storm. In the gam,e you’re trying to find your way back to the Ichigo family.

Towards the end of my reading section, they end up partnering with dov.. I dislike Dov SO much. I feel like he is gonna try to take over and take credit or get some of the profit. So Sadie moves out and back into Dov’s apartment. NOT GOOD. Did she learn nothing?

Oh, this kid imma jab her in the throat. Im so done with her..

BUTTTTTT Marx Sams roommate was renting them a apartment for there work space. And he fell in love with Sadie. But like also mentions that he and Sam might have had something going on between them.. Or maybe it is just like a really close brotherly relationship.. But the author explained it like they had a past relationship. This whole love triangle thing is driving me nuts, and Dov is back in the picture.. I just don’t get it.

But that was basically my whole section was just background information and them building the game plus all this complicated love triangle crap. OH, did I mention that Dov IS MARRIED.. She lives in Iraq? Cant really remember, but she moved away because of some fights I think Dov and her were having..

Okay sorry. Yeah, Im very interested in this book, and I already started reading my next section. Cant wait! Sorry for all the back-and-forths.

Starter post

The book that I chose to read was Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. I picked to read this book because I don’t get into reading that much, and when I do, it is typically fantasy books like the Fourth Wing series, Harry Potter, etc. If we are being honest, I didn’t really pick the book; Mrs. Johnson did. She thought I would like it. I didn’t decide to read with anyone. Why? Good question. I’m just looking forward to finding a new book that I might enjoy to read. Maybe I won’t, and this is gonna be a sucky 7 weeks. Really, im just not looking forward to If I won’t enjoy the book, then it is gonna be a long, painful 7 weeks of forcing myself to read something I have no interest in. I’m gonna set a reminder on my phone to make sure I read the number of pages I need to read in that week.

The Crucible Emotion’s

The additional emotion I have chosen to do is pride. As pride can be seen many different times throughout the play, There is just a few characters that stand out the most to me.

Parris: Parris’s pride can be seen in many different ways throughout the play, but one of his main prides is his reputation and how people will think of him being a minister. On pages 11, 29, 88-89, and 91.

Danforth: Danforth’s pride can be seen when he enters in Act three, he is not willing to listen to anyone or take in anyone else’s opinions because his reputation is so high in the court. well mostly throughout all of act three.

Target audience impacts

Do you think any of these (de las Casas’, Columbus’, Red Cloud’s) accounts changed the audience? How? Why yes or no? If no, what could they have done to more affect their audience?

Personal experiences can change someone’s thoughts a lot, not only from the perspective of real, living, people in the flesh roaming the earth during this period but it also takes in the real accounts of what happened. Not stories passed down from generation to generation, that may or may not have been changed to fit the readers/listeners’ age or maturity. De las Casas’ point of view changed my views of Columbus’s adventures, not only did they end up using the natives as slaves for their gold, pearls, and superiority ideas. They have ruined their culture, they pushed them into reservations, boarding schools, and other very harsh things. The native’s stories will be changed forever, filled with life and joy til the whites show up, their stories will take a dark turn and their culture will be ruined. So yes I think de las Casas accounts changed the audience in a very impactful way.
